Rubber or plastic plates are mounted on the track plates of tracked vehicles to protect sensitive surfaces (e.g. road surfaces such as asphalt) from damage. They are used in particular for small and medium-sized excavators in road construction.
These model rubber plates are modeled after the original prototype. They are suitable for the narrow (46mm) PREMACON triple grouser track links (e.g. from the R926). The plates are simply glued onto the chain links. This can significantly increase the friction between chain plates and smooth surfaces.
The rubber plates also fit to the tracks of the Fumotec PC228
Processing note:
Before gluing, used chains must be cleaned.
